Welcome to Pawlog. By downloading or using the Pawlog iOS app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What Pawlog is

Pawlog is a personal wellness journal for dogs and cats. It helps you record photos, weight, mood, and notes over time, and generates AI-assisted observations and shareable summaries for veterinary visits.

2. Not medical advice

Pawlog is not a diagnostic tool and does not provide medical advice. Body condition scores, wellness observations, and vet prep documents are informational aids only. They are not a substitute for professional veterinary care. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for any health concern about your pet. In an emergency, contact an emergency veterinary hospital immediately.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the photos, notes, and information you create in Pawlog. We do not claim ownership of your content. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what data we handle and when.

4. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Use Pawlog for anything other than personal, non-commercial pet wellness journaling
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the app's source code beyond what is permitted by applicable law
• Abuse or overload our API endpoints in a way that would degrade service for other users
• Use Pawlog to create content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on someone else's rights

5. AI features

Some Pawlog features send data to our server and to Google's Gemini API for processing. By using these features you consent to this processing. AI outputs may be inaccurate — treat them as suggestions, not facts. Our Privacy Policy describes exactly what is sent.

6. No warranty

Pawlog is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any damages arising from your use of the app.

7. Availability

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue Pawlog or any of its features at any time. AI features depend on third-party services; if those services change or become unavailable, some features may stop working.

8. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and, when appropriate, communicated within the app.
